Description	:	Letha Miller, a longtime Colfax resident, died of causes related to age Sunday at Tri-State Health and Rehabilitation Center in Clarkston. She was 84. She was born Nov. 2, 1915, to Charles and Mabel Smith Sullivan in Pittsfield, Ill. She moved with her family to Washtucna, Wash., when she was a young child. She attended schools in Chewelah and Palouse before moving to Colfax in 1933. She married Cliff Lloyd in Colfax Aug. 4, 1934. They bought the Colfax Hotel and Coffee Shop in 1950. She was born Nov. 2, 1915, to Charles and Mabel Smith Sullivan in Pittsfield, Ill. She moved with her family to Washtucna, Wash., when she was a young child. She attended schools in Chewelah and Palouse before moving to Colfax in 1933. She married Cliff Lloyd in Colfax Aug. 4, 1934. They bought the Colfax Hotel and Coffee Shop in 1950. They operated the business together until his death in March 1956. The hotel and coffee shop were destroyed by fire in December 1956. In 1957, she married Lavern Carmen. They later divorced. She built and operated the Colfax Coffee Shop and Pheasant Room at its present location. She sold the business to Pete Eng in the mid-1960s. She married Dave Miller in 1970 and they operated the Colfax Liquor Store from 1971 to 1978. He died in August 1994. She was a member of the Catholic Church and a 50-year member of the Colfax Eagles Lodge. Survivors include a brother, Vern Sullivan of Clarkston; two sisters, Bonnie Wentz of Yakima and Catherine Dana of Olympia; and four grandchildren. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Cliff Lloyd Jr.; a brother, Charles Sullivan; and five sisters, Marie Groel, Mabel Stewart, Constance Sherman, Juanita Bailey and an infant sister.
