Description	:	The youngest of Michael and Rebecca's children, was Levi, who was born 22 Feb 1843, at the old homestead near Jefferson, Ohio and spent his entire life in Fairfield County, Bloom Township, Ohio. Levi and Hannah Thrash reared a family of 13 children, which indeed meant many a hardship and sacrifice. About 1885, they purchased a farm near Salem Church; this farm is finely laid out and enclosed with well kept fences and the residence and other buildings are tasteful and substantial in their character. Read More	The youngest of Michael and Rebecca's children, was Levi, who was born 22 Feb 1843, at the old homestead near Jefferson, Ohio and spent his entire life in Fairfield County, Bloom Township, Ohio. Levi and Hannah Thrash reared a family of 13 children, which indeed meant many a hardship and sacrifice. About 1885, they purchased a farm near Salem Church; this farm is finely laid out and enclosed with well kept fences and the residence and other buildings are tasteful and substantial in their character. Mr Thrash has made wonderful success in the growing of small fruit; he being practically the first man in that locality to begin the culture of berries for the Columbus (Ohio) markets. This undertaking has changed the whole neighborhood and has been the means of lifting the mortgage from many a home. When the Civil War was being fought, Levi was called to join forces with the Union Army, but Lee's surrender prevented him from entering the service. He was always ready to help a friend, and lend a helping hand to any one in distress. He was a good husband and he too like Mrs. Thrash, was always looking forward to the welfare of his children.
