Description	:	Lewis Goodrich, son of Lewis and Laura Goodrich, was born July 11, 1876, in Pecatonica, Ill. His mother died when he was but a few days old and his father maintained a home for him and after three years he remarried and Lewis remained with his father and stepmother. He attended public school in Pecatonica until he was fifteen, when the family moved to Fairmont, Neb., where he finished his high school education. Read More	Lewis Goodrich, son of Lewis and Laura Goodrich, was born July 11, 1876, in Pecatonica, Ill. His mother died when he was but a few days old and his father maintained a home for him and after three years he remarried and Lewis remained with his father and stepmother. He attended public school in Pecatonica until he was fifteen, when the family moved to Fairmont, Neb., where he finished his high school education. He then attended Highland Park business college in Des Moines, Ia., for one or more terms. He was a hospital patient for twenty-two years. He died there of an acute heart attack at the age of 63 years, 4 months, and 25 days. Surviving relatives are two half-brothers, Willard E. and Homer C. Goodrich of Fairmont. Funeral services were held in the Kritner funeral home in Fairmont at 2:30 Saturday afternoon, December 9, Rev. Mr. Bashford of Exeter officiating. Mrs. Elizabeth Aldrich and Miss Margaret Aldrich sang, with Mrs. Jessie Philson at the piano. Pallbearers were Geroge Porter, Clinton Halsey, C. D. Bridgman, O. E. Harmon, C. B. Nichols and Frank Cubbison. Interment was in the family plot in the Fairmont Cemetery.
