Description	:	MONDAY RITES FOR JISKRA Funeral services for Lewis H. Jiskra of Plainview were Monday at the United Methodist Church with Rev. Earl Higgins officiating. Burial was at Pleasant View Cemetery. Jiskra died Thursday at Plainview Public Hospital. He was 72. Pallbearers were Jerry Binger, Richard Binger, Dave Friedrich, Albert Friedrich, Duane Pittet and Joe Rumsey. Honorary pallbearers were Darrel Binger, Ed Friedrich, Gene Young, Elvin Scranton, Melvin Carlson and Leo Nielsen. He attended school at Pierce and married Marjorie Mosher on March 23, 1941 in Columbus. Jiskra farmed north of Plainview since 1936, and he also did some custom baling and blacksmith work. He was a member of the United Methodist Church. His survivors include his wife; two sons, Dale of Omaha and Larry, and his wife, Ellen, of Council Bluffs, IA; a sister, Ella Kozel of Norfolk; and a grandson.
