Pastor Alice Shomari officiated the service with burial in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Plainview. Duane Christiansen's taped songs were played, "Precious Lord, Take My Hand" and "I Know Who Holds Tomorrow". Jiskra was born in Laurel on October 8, 1917 to Burt and Edith Mosher and died on Wednesday, Nov. 4 in Plainview. She was a graduate of Plainview High School. Jiskra is survived by er son, Dale. of Omaha; daughter-in-law, Ellen Jiskra of Davenport, Iowa; granddaughter, Dawn Kountze; great-grandchildren, Christian and Kelsey Kountze of Bettendorf, Iowa, a niece Deana Alexander; and nephew, Don Kozel and family.
