He is survived by his wife, Nancy; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Terry J. Waters of Massena; two brothers, Timothy, in the Navy, and Patrick, at home; and four sisters, Mrs. Lary Mills of Massena, and Kim and twins Jean and Joan, all at home. Funeral services were Saturday morning at 10:00 o'clock at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Massena with burial in the Victoria Cemetery south of Massena. Atlantic News Telegraph December 123, 1959 Page 8 Polling-Waters Nuptials Nancy Jo Anne Polling, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Polling of Emerson, and Thomas Michael Waters, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Waters of Massena, exchanged marriage vows in a double ring ceremony December 5 performed by the Rev. Jacob Reiss. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a white gown with a fitted lace bodice and long sleeves ending in points over the hands. The circular skirt fell in deep folds from the bodice and was trimmed in matching medallions. Her finger-tip veil of illusion was held by a white crown. She carried a white prayer book topped by a cascading bouquet of white flowers. Lynda Polling, the bride's sister, was maid of honor and Beth Waters, sister of the bridegroom, and Diane Polling, the bride's cousin, were bridesmaids. All three attendants wore identical gowns of brown lace over pink half hats of lace and pink carnation corsages. John Waters of Des Moines was his cousin's best man and Dan McLaren and Dan Waters, also cousins, served as groomsmen. Serving the bridal table at the reception were the bridegroom's sisters, Jean and Joan, and the guest book was presided over by Elizabeth Casey. Mrs. W. P. Waters, Jo Ann Casey and Susie McLaren arranged the gifts and Mrs. Jerry Morrison, Mrs. Bob Morrison, Mrs. Ronald Piearson, Mrs. Alfred Hogan, and Mrs. Wood Brentnall served refreshments. The bride is a graduate of the Emerson high school and Mr. Waters, a Massena high school graduate, is associated with the patrol office at Red Oak where they are at home.
