Description	:	Lila F. Vandemark, 76, Tolley, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, in a Minot hospital. Lila F. Knower was born July 27, 1935, in Coulee, a daughter to Roy and Mildred (Baker) Knower. She was raised in that area and graduated from Donnybrook High School. On March 25, 1964, Lila married Wilfred Vandemark in Minot. Following their marriage they lived at Norma for seven years, and then moved to Tolley, where they made their home. Vandemark, 76, Tolley, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, in a Minot hospital. Lila F. Knower was born July 27, 1935, in Coulee, a daughter to Roy and Mildred (Baker) Knower. She was raised in that area and graduated from Donnybrook High School. On March 25, 1964, Lila married Wilfred Vandemark in Minot. Following their marriage they lived at Norma for seven years, and then moved to Tolley, where they made their home. Lila cut meat for many years at the store in Donnybrook and also worked for numerous friends in that area. Wilfred died on June 22, 2010, and shortly after Lila moved to Mohall, where she since had lived. Lila was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church and Senior Citizens, both in Tolley, and she always remained active in all the community events. While her children were growing up she enjoyed attending all their sporting events. Her grandchildren were very important to her and she loved them dearly. Lila was a wonderful lady who will be deeply missed. Those who shared in her life: children, Paul (Teresa) Vandemark, Mohall, Patty (Mark) Stavem and Kelly (Kim) Vandemark, all of Tolley; grandchildren, Kristopher and Megan Vandemark, Aaron Hamilton, Kayla, Andrew and Abbey Stavem and Danielle Few Vandemark; sisters, Betty Jean (Melvin) Newman, Minot, and Zola Mae Berg, Kenmare; sister-in-law, Leona Knower of Minnesota; brother-in-law, Maurice Swanson, Williston; goddaughters, Amanda Knutson, Bismarck, and Kim Nordstrom Ramirez, Temple, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lila was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred; her parents; and sister, Arlene Swanson; brother, Charles Knower; and brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Delores Knower; and brother-in-law, Alvin Berg. Funeral service: Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at 1 p.m., at Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tolley. Visitation: Friday, one hour prior to the service, in the church. Burial: Friday at 3 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, rural Kenmare.
