Description	:	Lila May McKinney Lila May McKinney, the daughter of Nettie and Fletcher Wells, was born near Cantril, Iowa May 3, 1902, and passed away at Helena, Montana, Feb. 19, 1958. She grew to womanhood in the Cantril community, and after graduating from the local high school, she taught in the rural schools of the county, and in the Cantril grade school. Read More	Lila May McKinney Lila May McKinney, the daughter of Nettie and Fletcher Wells, was born near Cantril, Iowa May 3, 1902, and passed away at Helena, Montana, Feb. 19, 1958. She grew to womanhood in the Cantril community, and after graduating from the local high school, she taught in the rural schools of the county, and in the Cantril grade school. She was Deputy County Clerk for four years. On Sept. 4th 1939, she was married to Wilbur McKinney, at Omaha, Nebr., and for the past 15 years, have made their home in Helena, Montana, where her husband is meteorologist of Weather Bureau. Early in life, she joined the Cantril Methodist Church, later transferring her membership to the Presbyterian Church in Helena. She was a member of the Cantril chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Left to mourn Lilia's death are her husband; one daughter, Ruth Helen; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Gaston of Keosauqua; three brothers, Lester and Harold Wells of Omaha, Nebr., and a number of nieces and nephews, who were especially fond of her.
