A native of Oconee County, Mrs. White was a daughter of the late James Woodrow Wilson and Ruby Alexander Wilson. She retired from Freightliner Manufacturing as a quality control inspector. In addition to her husband, Mrs. White is survived by sons, Steve White (Sheila) of Stanley, NC and Joe Grant (Tonya) of Iron Station, NC; brother Furman Wilson (Carolyn) of Salem, SC; sisters, Sara McCall (Troy) of Walhalla SC, Hazel Miller of Salem, SC; granddaughter, Crissy Grant; grandsons, Daniel Grant and Brandon White; four great granddaughters, April and Autumn Grant, Alexis Grant, and Mary Whitworth; step granddaughter, Beth Gilliam, and sister-in-law, Joyce Wilson of Salem, SC. In addition to her parents, Mrs. White was predeceased by siblings, Mary Grant, Frank Wilson and Tommy Wilson; step daughter Carol Gilliam; and granddaughter, Maria Black. Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Wilson Family Cemetery, Salem, SC. The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Davenport Funeral Home prior to the service. The family is at the home of the sister-in-law, Joyce Wilson, 141 Clear Cut Drive, Salem, SC.
