Description	:	Lillian Alice Daniel, daughter of Tressie Marie (King) Daniel and Homer Murray Daniel, was born January 17, 1928 at Norfolk, NE. She graduated from Fedora (SD) High School in 1947 and moved to Sioux Falls in 1948. Lillian married Donald Knochenmuss in November of 1947. She later married Donald D. Bonrud on December 24, 1958 in Luverne, MN. Donald preceded her in death on June 4, 1999. She graduated from Fedora (SD) High School in 1947 and moved to Sioux Falls in 1948. Lillian married Donald Knochenmuss in November of 1947. She later married Donald D. Bonrud on December 24, 1958 in Luverne, MN. Donald preceded her in death on June 4, 1999. Lillian worked for the Stockyards Café (where she met her husband Donald Bonrud who was working there as a chef) and the Driftwood Restaurant for many years. She then worked as a clerk for Lewis Drug and as a seamstress for Raven Industries. The "work" she enjoyed the most was the time spent with her husband raising their children. Lillian was an active member of East Side Lutheran Church where she served with the Altar Guild and the funeral lunch committee. Additionally, she was a member of the Avera McKennan Auxiliary; the Avera McKennan Prestige Plus Club, and also volunteered in the gift shop. She was also a longtime member of John M. Bliss VFW Post #628 Ladies Auxiliary. Grateful for having shared her life are three daughters, Ronaleen (Tom) Hoffman, Tea, SD, Donaleen (Butch) Huizenga, Harrisburg, SD, Lindy (Richard) Zimmermann, Sioux Falls, SD; one son, Frederick (Sally) Bonrud, Lennox, SD; fifteen grandchildren, Tanya (Huizenga) Kruthoff and her husband, Dan, Veronica Hastings, Christina Bonrud, Emily Zimmermann, Jacqueline Bonrud, Adam Podowski, Toby (Patty) Huizenga, Brett Podowski, Ryan Zimmermann, Benjamin Hoffman, Frederick Bonrud, Jr., Daniel Zimmermann, Todd Hoffman, Jeremy (Chezron) Hoffman, Jesse Hoffman, Jacob Hoffman; one brother, Homer (Marie) Daniel, Sioux Falls, SD; four sisters, Doris Ament Hanson, Sioux Falls, SD, Delores (Gordon) Loen, Omaha, NE, Beverly (Henry) Ellsworth, Brandon, SD, Gayle (Raymond) Lunski, Sioux Falls, SD, Mable Daniel, Las Vegas, NV; and a host of other relatives and friends. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one son, Dennis Bonrud; two brothers, William Daniel and Raymond King; and three sisters, Eileen Emmett, Dolly Daniel, and Betty Lou Daniel.
