Description	:	Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Sutphen Funeral Home for Mrs. W. S. Victor, 68, a longtime resident north of Villisca, who died on February 25, at the Clarkson Hospital in Clarinda, Iowa. The Rev. E. M. Buehler was in charge of the funeral services. Pall bearers were C. L. Buckner, C. C. Mayhew, C. C. Baker, Russell Winter, John Zuber, and Louis Cartwright. Flower bearers were Mrs. Sadie Winter and Mrs. Dorothy Winer, and singing was by Mrs. L. She was born in Hillsdale County, Michigan on February 1, 1974 and was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. T. Durga. As a young girl, in 1885, she came to Wheaton, Illinois with her parents and later the family moved to Crete, Nebraska, where the deceased attended high school and graduated with the class of 1891. She later attended Duane College in Crete. In 1895, she was married to William Samuel Victor and the couple settled on a farm near Villisca. Mrs. Victor lived in this vicinity the remainder of her life. Her home at her death was on a farm approximately 1 1/2 miles north of Villisca. Mrs. Victor is survived by her husband, six children, two sisters, and one brother. The children are Georgia, Elmer, and Malcolm, all of Villisca; Thelma Crittenden, Des Moines, Etta Berry, Ames, and Elizabeth Hyde, Los Animas, Colorado.
