Mrs. Allen was a former President of Lockhart School PTA. Surviving are two daughters: Cathy Hyatt and husband Phil of Spartanburg and Nan Ruppe and husband Alan of Gaffney; a sister, Margaret Steen of Rock Hill; three grandchildren: Tracy Vanderford of Union, Jena Turner and husband Cody of Chesnee and Colton Cabaniss of Gaffney and two great-grandchildren: Sydnie Vanderford and Carlee Turner. Mrs. Allen was predeceased by a total of nine brothers and sisters.
