The Rev. L. A. Hansen will officiate. Mrs. Norris died Wednesday evening at Lutheran hospital, Columbus. She had been in declining health for the past two months. Born December 16, 1905, at Nodaway, Iowa, Lillian Barker was the daughter of Silas and Emma Shiffer Barker. She attended District 54 school, Polk County and was a 1923 graduate of Silver Creek high school. She was married to Ray Norris at York October 14, 1925. The couple farmed in Merrick and Polk Counties. Mrs. Norris was a member of the Silver Creek Methodist church and the Fairview Ladies Aid. Surviving are her husband; one son, Virgil Norris of Columbus; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Bethel) Powers of Silver Creek and six grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Oscar Anderson of Clarks, Mrs. Bruce Cobb of Savanah, Missouri, Miss Velma Barker of Beatrice and one brother, Myron Barker of Silver Creek. Her parents preceded her in death. Burial will be in the Silver Creek Cemetery. Note: Parents: Silas Wilkins Barker and Emma Shiffer
