Description	:	Lillian Moller, 89, of Craig, Iowa passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the Plymouth Manor Care Center in Le Mars. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 3, 2014 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Craig, Iowa with Minister Joel Nye officiating. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Craig. Visitation with the family present will be from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2014 at the Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars. Lillian Johanna Kleihauer was born June 5, 1924 on the family farm in Grant Township, rural Plymouth County to Heinrich and Johanna (Dirks) Kleihauer. She was baptized and confirmed at Christ Lutheran Church. She attended country school near her home. As a student she won the Regional Spelling Bee and also received a State of Iowa Music Award. The beginning of her life long appreciation of music. She helped her family on the farm and learned to be an exceptional seamstress. Lillian was united in marriage to John Moller on May 16, 1946 at Christ Lutheran Church, Grant Township. John and Lillian farmed in the Akron and Westfield area until moving to a farm near Craig in 1959. They continued to farm until retirement and moved to Craig. John passed away on November 19, 2008. Lillian has made her home at Plymouth Manor since December of 2009. Lillian enjoyed sewing, gardening and canning. She also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, crocheting, and doing word search puzzles. All through her life she enjoyed listening to music. Every Friday she looked forward to playing bingo with the other residents of the Manor. In her early retirement years, Lillian enjoyed caring for her grandson Travis and babysitting for other neighborhood children. Survivors include her four children: Roger and Susan Marie Moller, Glenn "Ernie" Moller, David and Susan Moller all of Craig, and JoAnn Moller-Loucks and friend Dennis Burdick of Janesville, Wisconsin; four grandsons: Todd Moller, Travis Moller and his fiancée Kathy Hartnett, David Loucks Jr. and Kami, and Justin Loucks; 3 great grandchildren, Parker David Loucks, Elaine "Laney" Loucks, and Eli Loucks. She is also survived by her two brothers: G.O. "Ottie" Kleihauer of Le Mars and Albert (Milly) Kleihauer of Cherokee, IA; in-laws: Robert (Velma) Moller of Hawarden and Cecilia Moller of Omaha; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Heinrich and Johanna (Dirks) Kleihauer; two brothers: John "Jack" and Henry Kleihauer; five sisters: Anna (John) Plueger, Mary Livermore and husband Fred and later husband Cletus Wiebersch and Meta "Matie" (Robert) Ruble, Etta (Henry) Beitelspacher, and Emma (Fred) Harms; sisters-in-law, Marilyn and Jeannine Kleihauer; her parents-in-law, John Sr. and Johanna Moller; in-laws: Ann Anderson and Major Wm. "Bill", Gerhard "Gert" Moller, Henry "Hank" Moller, Richard "Ritchie" Moller; and a son-in-law, David Loucks. The family of Lillian Moller would like to thank the staff of Plymouth Manor for all of the care and affection showed to our mom these past years and becoming her second family. Also we would like to thank Hospice of Siouxland for the care and comfort provided to our mom these last weeks.
