Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs. Mabel Clark who died at the home of her son in Pomona, Calif., March 29, were held at the Baptist church at two o’clock Friday afternoon with Rev. Glenn Discoe in charge. She was laid to rest in Rose Hill cemetery. Lillian Mabel Dworak was born Febr. 24, 1880, at Crete, Nebr., the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Dworak. Glenn Discoe in charge. She was laid to rest in Rose Hill cemetery. Lillian Mabel Dworak was born Febr. 24, 1880, at Crete, Nebr., the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Dworak. She moved with her family to Schuyler where she was united in marriage to Walter R. Moore in December 1900. To this union were born five children, Gertrude Short who passed away in 1931, Esther Kerr of Albion, Frances and Ray of Pomona, Calif. and George who died in infancy. The family moved from Schuyler to Holt county and later to Elm Creek and Albion. In 1935 Mrs. Moore was married to Clyde Clark. They moved to a farm near Fullerton where they lived until failing health forced them to leave. For several months Mrs. Clark has been in California with her children, where she suffered a paralytic stroke on Monday morning, March 29, and passed away the same afternoon. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband; two daughters, Esther and Frances; one son, Ray; five grandchildren, one great grandchild; also three sisters, Mrs. Alvin Olsen of Schuyler, Mrs. John Else and Mrs. Blanch Swearingen of Elm Creek; one brother, Arthur Dworak of Elm Creek; other relatives and a host of friends. Mrs. Clark was a member of the Baptist church and was active in the work of the church while her health permitted. (Albion Weekly News – Albion, Nebraska – April 8, 1943)
