Description	:	RITES ARE HELD AT FUNERAL HOME FOR MRSS. DIGGS Mrs. Alfred Diggs, 55, died at 3 p.m. Tuesday at her home here after an illness of a week. Death was caused by heart trouble which followed an attack of influenza. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Fessler & Sutphen Funeral Parlors, with the Rev. Martin A. Burial was made in the Villisca Cemetery. Mrs. Diggs was born January 28, 1875, in Nodaway County, Missouri. She was married in 1890 to Henry Reynolds at Maryville, Missouri. To this union four children were born, three of whom are living. Mr. Reynolds preceded his wife in death. On July 7, 1902, she was married to Alfred Diggs in Norton, Kansas. Mrs. Diggs is survived by her husband at the home in south Villisca, by a daughter, Mrs. Rena Record of Percival, Iowa and two sons, Burt and Fred Reynolds of Villisca. Fifteen grandchildren also survive. Brothers and sisters who were here for the funeral were Mrs. W. Sherers and husband, Prairie View, Kansas; Mrs. Ed Wiatt, Topeka, Kansas; Mrs. W. W. Jones, and husband, Burlington Junction, Missouri. Two brothers, Georg and Roy McClain of Junction City, Kansas and one sister, Mrs. G. C.
