She passed away Friday evening, April, 8, at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Bridgeport as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident that afternoon. Read More	Linda June Murrell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester E. Murrell of Bridgeport was born on Nov. 10, 1947 at Oskhosh, NE. Whe was 18 years, 4 months, and 29 days of age. She was a 1965 graduate of Bridgeport High School and was attending Chadron State College. Miss Murrell had returned from college Friday for the Easter holiday. She had attended school in Oshkosh until her family moved to Bridgeport in 1956. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith in Oshkosh and later was confirmed in the Presbyterian faith in Bridgeport. During her high school she was active in band, chorus, class plays, one act plays, pep club, FJA, newspaper staff, and speech arts. Shae had also been one of the class officers. Surviving, in addition to her parents, are three sisters, Mary Ann, Patty, and Nancy, and one brother, Charles, all of the home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Zorn of Oshkosh and Mr and Mrs. Harry Murrell of Fairmont. Funeral services were held Monday morning at First Presbyterian Church in Bridgeport, conducted by the Rev. Ralph Dixon Jennings. Burial was in Bridgeport's Oregon Trail Memorial Cemetery with Holechek Funeral home in charge of arrangements. Pall bearers were Bill Murphy, John Schmidt, Larry Parker, Mike Merrell, Dennis Daigger, and Gary Van Ostrand. "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Softly and Tenderly" were sung by Royce Plummer and Mrs. Reed Eichman, accompanied by Mrs. Royce Plummer. R.I.P. Linda!
