Description	:	Linda K. was born in Holdrege, Nebraska, the daughter of the late Leslie and Elvera Dahlgren, always cherishing her Swedish heritage. Linda was a devoted mother and grandmother to her two boys, Dan and Brent Hammond, and to her two granddaughters, Janae and Jorja Hammond. While growing up in Holdrege, she was an active 4-H member, excelling in sewing and cooking, and ended up with many purple ribbons. Read More	Linda K. was born in Holdrege, Nebraska, the daughter of the late Leslie and Elvera Dahlgren, always cherishing her Swedish heritage. Linda was a devoted mother and grandmother to her two boys, Dan and Brent Hammond, and to her two granddaughters, Janae and Jorja Hammond. While growing up in Holdrege, she was an active 4-H member, excelling in sewing and cooking, and ended up with many purple ribbons. She loved going to the swimming pool and movies with her friends and spending time with her cousins. She attended Bethel Lutheran Church in Holdrege, where she was confirmed and active in youth activities. She loved the outdoors, spending time at her parents' cabin, at Johnson Lake near Lexington, NE, water skiing and swimming with family and friends. After graduating from Holdrege High School, she was employed by Person and Dier, attorneys at law in Holdrege, before moving to Millard where she attended St. Paul Lutheran Church. It was at this time she was employed at Baird Holm law firm, her second family and loved by all. In 2015, she retired after 39 years of service. In Omaha she was an active member and past president of the Omaha Chapter of Executive Women International. She was a fantastic cook and an avid knitter and loved to play Scrabble and do crossword puzzles. Two of her favorite places to take visitors in Omaha were Joslyn Art Museum and Henry Doorly Zoo.
