She was the loving daughter of the late Bernard Lee and Betty Lou Reed Gordon. She was raised in Carmel, Indiana until the age of 16 when she moved to California. Read More	Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre 325 Demaree Drive Madison, IN 47250 Mrs. Linda Lee "Granny" Gordon Lee, age 68, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on April 8, 1951 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late Bernard Lee and Betty Lou Reed Gordon. She was raised in Carmel, Indiana until the age of 16 when she moved to California. Linda was raised in the Methodist faith. She was first united in marriage to Jimmy "Jim" Wayne Hays in 1969 and this union was blessed with a daughter, Jennifer. On September 7, 1972 Linda was united in marriage to Kenneth L. Lee in California. The family moved to Texas in 1974. Linda worked as a jailer and dispatcher in Haskell, Texas. In 1995 she moved to Madison and worked for Clifty Falls State Park as a gate attendant and in housekeeping and also as a gate attendant at the Charlestown State Park. She enjoyed reading, playing Bingo, crafts, camping, hiking, traveling, and anything that involved her grandchildren. Most recently watching her granddaughters participate on the N.A.S.P. Archery Team - X-Team where she was known to all the participants and parents as "Granny". Linda died on Sunday, February 23, 2020, at 9:25 a.m. at her home in Madison, Indiana with her family at her side. A LOVING FAMILY Linda will be missed by her loving daughter, Jennifer Hays of Madison, Indiana; her step sons, Eric Hays, Jerry Dale Hays, Jerry Snelling and Terry Snelling; her step daughters, Beth Hays Lucero, Cheryl Hays, Amanda Hays, Tracy Suthard, Nancy Snelling and Eva Osborn Shields; her granddaughters, Jessica Taflinger, Jodi Taflinger, Paix Hays, Noel Hays, Jaclyn Snelling and Corralyn Lucero; her grandsons, Aidan Hays, Ryland Hays, Nathon Lucero, Philip Lucero, Brady Suthard, Mason Hays, Hunter Hays, and Sawyer Hays; her sisters, Jolene Gordon Foster and Cheryl Gordon Robertson; her brothers in law, Jack Hays, Johny Hays, Jerry Hays, Robert Burnett, James Lee and Johnny Lee; her sisters in law, Cheryl Bennett, May Lee, Rosie Lee, Jennifer Smith Hays; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard Lee "Bernie" Gordon, died December 22, 1997, her mother, Betty Lou Reed Gordon, died December 7, 2003, her brother, Dale Alan Gordon, died July 20, 1980, her brother in law, Dwight Foster, her father in law and mother in law, John C. Jr. and Nelta J. Brown Hays, her ex husband and father of her daughter, Jimmy "Jim" Wayne Hays, and her mother in law, Peggy Burnet. GRAVESIDE CEREMONY Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, February 29, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., Conducted by Sean Maxwell Gee at the Sharon Hill Cemetery near Lexington, Indiana. PITCH IN STYLE LUNCHEON There will be a pitch in style luncheon immediately following the graveside service at the Madison Moose Lodge No. 765 on Michigan Road in Madison, Indiana. MEMORIAL EXPRESSIONS Memorial contributions may be made to the Linda Lee Remembrance Fund or the American Cancer Society.
