Her death was due to complications of Alzheimer's and kidney failure. Linda was born on May 23, 1940 in Lime Springs, Iowa on the doctor's kitchen table to Doctor Lowell A. Osborn and Dorothy Lucille Clemmer. Her family lived in Demark and Germany, after World War II where her father was stationed. After returning to the United States, Linda contracted Polio and spent some time in an iron lung machine. Linda graduated from the Hampton, Iowa Public School in 1958. She attended and graduated from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa in 1962 with a degree in Home Economics. She was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. It was there on Friday, 15 March, 1959 that she met her future husband, Jerry L. Kupris. Jerry and Linda were married on June 12, 1960 by three Methodist Ministers. Both of her grandfathers were Ministers. Linda and Jerry lived throughout Iowa during their marriage. In July, 2004 they moved to Green Valley, Arizona. Four children were born of this marriage; Kristin D. Anderson of Phoenix, AZ, Timothy O. Kupris of Sydney, Australia, Anthony R. Kupris II of Eldridge, IA and Blaine J. Kupris of Brooklyn Park, MN. Linda was also the grandmother to nine grandchildren; Leah Hoover, Katie Anderson, Amanda, Derek, Kelly, Blaine, Beau, Jackson and Ellie Kupris. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Kupris, all of the above plus a sister and brother-in-law, Bobby and Louise Stricklin of Ashville, NC and brother -in-law and sister-in-law, Gary and Kay Hurt of Aurora, Il. Also, several other cousins, nieces and nephews. During her lifetime, she was a great wife, mother, grandmother and home maker. She was also a teacher, business owner and worked in the retail clothing and jeweler business. Burial will take place at the Hampton Cemetery in Hampton, Iowa
