Three years later the family moved to another location between Geneva and Fairmont, Nebraska. Linnie grew to womanhood here. They lived at Ohiowa at the time. Three years later the family moved to another location between Geneva and Fairmont, Nebraska. Linnie grew to womanhood here. She had four brothers and three sisters, Will A. and Henry J. of Fairmont, Anton L. and Mrs. George Everts of Grafton, Edwin J. and Miss Louise of Geneva and Mrs. Frank Fiedler of Fairmont. On October 27, 1920, Linnie Domeier was united in marriage to Herman Brown. They made their home east of Fairmont, where they lived ever since, except for two years they lived in the Grafton community. To this union two children were born. Eileen, age thirteen, and Rev, age twelve. Mrs. Brown was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church. In the latter part of 1924, she transferred her membership and with Mr. Brown, united with the Federated church of Fairmont. She has been active in her own Sunday school class, the Philathea, and for one year a few years ago, she was superintendent of the Primary department. Then at her request, she was released of the position to become a teacher in the department. She haw been an active worker in the Woman's Auxiliary. Her fine spirit and splendid cooperation made it a real pleasure to work with her. For a good many years she has been an active member of the Goldenrod kensington, a community organization. Last week she went to the York hospital for an operation, which was performed on Saturday. Everything seemed most encouraging after the operation until Sunday evening about seven, when she became very ill and passed on in less than fifteen minutes. Her mother preceded her in death by ten years. Her father lives at Geneva. She leaves to mourn her passing from visible sight, her husband and children; her father, brothers, sisters, other relatives and a host of friends who had come to love and cherish her friendship. The funeral services wee held Wednesday afternoon with a short service at the house and then at the church. Her minister, Rev. Isaac Cassel, officiating. The music was furnished by a quartet, Mrs. Mamie Kemp, Mrs. Mary Goodrich, Wayne Malsbary and W.E. Black. Marjorie Starks was the organist. The pallbearers were Conrad Keil, E.B. Joy, Charles Shoemaker, Art Guthrie, Oliver Kness and John Bettger. Interment was made in the Fairmont Cemetery. Daughter of Anton W. and Lena (Most) Domeier.
