Description	:	Lena Most, daughter of Conrad Most and Minnie nee Buckmeier, was born June 4, 1867 in Will County, Illinois. While yet an infant she was baptized in the Lutheran faith. When six years of age her parents moved to Ohiowa, Neb., and here in the parochial school she received her early Christian training. Read More	Lena Most, daughter of Conrad Most and Minnie nee Buckmeier, was born June 4, 1867 in Will County, Illinois. While yet an infant she was baptized in the Lutheran faith. When six years of age her parents moved to Ohiowa, Neb., and here in the parochial school she received her early Christian training. In due time this training culminated in her confirmation on April 2, 1882. Thereupon rested the spiritual guidance which served her faith in God until death. October 14, 1886, she became the beloved wife of A. W. Domeier and this union was blessed with four sons and four daughters. After residing fourteen years at Ohiowa, the family finally came to Madison Township, Geneva, Neb. Her death was hastened by cancer, from which she suffered the past two years. Relief finally came in her demise at 7:30 a.m. Monday, September 9th, 1929, at an age of 62 years, 3 months and 5 days. Mrs. A. W. Domeier is survived by her husband Anton and the following children: William Domeier of Fairmont, Neb., Henry Domeier of Lincoln, Neb., Mrs. George Everts of Grafton, Neb., Anton Domeier of Grafton, Neb., Mrs. Herman Brown of Fairmont, Neb., Mrs. Frank Fiedler of Grafton, Neb., Edwin and Louise Domeier of Geneva, Neb.; the following sisters and brothers survive her: Mrs. Minnie Matthies and Mrs. Fred Matthies of Ohiowa, Neb., Mrs. Andrew Schropfer of Geneva, Neb., Mrs. William Langhost of Strang, Neb., and Mrs. William Mussman of Tobias, Neb., John F. Most, Henry C. Most and Anton Most, all of Ohiowa. Among those also mourning her death are twelve grandchildren and many friends. The funeral services were held at the home three and one-half miles north and one mile east of Geneva at 1:30 p.m., September 11th, in the German language, Rev. W. A. Krenke of Grafton having charge. The choir rendered her favorite song, “Lass mich gehn.” About 2 o’clock the church services began at Grace Lutheran Church in Geneva, conducted by Rev. W. Wietzke of Shickley. The Shickley choir rendering again her favorite songs, “Nearer My God to Thee” and “Asleep in Jesus.” The large attendance and many floral pieces gave testimony to the high esteem in which she was held. Interment was in the Geneva Cemetery, the last rites being conducted by Rev. W. A. Krenke. The Nebraska Signal September 19th, 1929 page 1.
