Description	:	Lisette was the daughter of Henry Nicholas Hahn and Friederike Sophia Dorothea Frahm. She married William Tanner on 25 December 1872 in Clinton, Iowa. They were the parents of Louisa (1858 MD) and Sophia. She married 2nd Martin Anderson in 1878. They were the parents of 9 children: Herman, Louis, Minnie Martin, William, Walter, Henry, Elizabeth, and Julius. She was in her 78th year... Read More	Lisette was the daughter of Henry Nicholas Hahn and Friederike Sophia Dorothea Frahm. She married William Tanner on 25 December 1872 in Clinton, Iowa. They were the parents of Louisa (1858 MD) and Sophia. She married 2nd Martin Anderson in 1878. They were the parents of 9 children: Herman, Louis, Minnie Martin, William, Walter, Henry, Elizabeth, and Julius. COON RAPIDS ENTERPRISE - Fri, Nov 13, 1931 - The Willow township community was saddened last Saturday afternoon by the death of Lisette Anderson "Grandma" Anderson as she was known, was loved by all who knew her. She was in her 78th year and had been in failing health for about 6 months. Her husband preceded her in death about 8 years ago. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Lutheran church. The obituary as read by her pastor Rev Friedrich, follows: Mrs Lisette Hahn Anderson was born April 6, 1854 in Lazone by Oldenburg in Holstein, Germany. When she was 9 weeks old she came to the US with her parents, locating at Baltimore, MD. Some years later she came to DeWitt, Iowa. In 1873 she was united in holy wedlock with William Tanner. This union was blessed with two daughters: Louisa, (Mrs Lange), and Sophia (Mrs Cross). Mr Tanner died in 1876. In 1878 she was married to Martin H Anderson, settling near Arcadia. This union was blessed with 9 children: Herman, Louis, now deceased, Minnie, Martin, William, Walter, Henry Elizabeth and Julius. In 1886 they moved to their farm northeast of Coon Rapids and the deceased had lived there 45 years. Four years ago she underwent an operation from which she never fully recovered. She was bedfast for the last 3 weeks and all that loving hands could do was done for her. On Saturday afternoon Nov 7, 1931 at 4:30 pm the Lord relieved her from her illness at the age of 77 years, 7 months, and 1 day. All her children were at her bedside at the time of her death. Her husband preceded her in death 8 years ago. She leaves to mourn her death her children: Mrs Louisa Lange, Wilton ND; Mrs Sophia Cross, Dedham; Herman of Coon Rapids; Mrs Henry Jarnecke of Council Bluffs; Martin, William, Walter, Henry, Mrs G.R. Herron and Julius, all of Coon Rapids; 24 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Hahn of DeWitt and Julius Hahn of Grand Mound; two sisters: Mrs Louisa Weeks of Boyd, WI and Mrs Minnie Perry of DeWitt. Funeral services were held on Tuesday Nov 10, 1931 at the house and at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church in Willow township. Her mortal remains were laid to rest in Willow cemetery.
