Description	:	Lloyd Beatty Lloyd E. Beatty, 79, of Lancaster, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2006. He was born on Aug. 17, 1927, in Amanda to the late Charles and Myrtle (Delong) Beatty. Lloyd worked for Lancaster Electro Plating as a Dock Clerk for 32 years before retiring in 1998. Lloyd is survived by his wife of 48 years, Susann (Eversole) Beatty; daughter Sharon (Kyle) Sharp of Pickerington; son Allen (Molly) Beatty of Jackson; grandchildren Jessica, Lily, Tracy and Lindy; great-grandson Andrew; sisters Ethel Henderly and Marie Martin both of Lancaster and Dorothy Beatty of Amanda; and special friend Coal. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister Myrtle Thomas. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, 2006, at the Sheridan Funeral Home with Pastor Diana Gugel officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, with military graveside honors conducted by the Lancaster Ohio Veterans Burial Squad. Visitation will be on from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006, at the funeral home. Published in the Lancaster Eagle-Gazette (Lancaster, Ohio) - Wednesday, August 30, 2006.
