Description	:	Lloyd F. Pflaster, 86, of Lexington, formerly of Cozad, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005 at the Tri-County Hospital in Lexington. Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 27, at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel in Cozad with Ed Maertens officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery north of Cozad. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad, which is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Marcella of Lexington; three sons, Ron (Iona) Pflaster of Oconto, Allen (Sandra)Pflaster of Littleton, Colo., and Keith (Peggy) Pflaster of Cozad; three daughters, LaVonne (Dale) Hinkle of Oconto, Judy (Gary) Vollmer of Cozad, and Imegene Barraza of Denver, Colo.; a brother, Levern (Jane) Pflaster of North Platte; a sister, Elsie Glendy of Oconto; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Arthur and Harry and a sister, Imegene Brink. He was born April 4, 1919, at Loup City to Andrew "Andy" and Clara (Dembowski) Pflaster and attended rural school near Oconto. On May 29, 1942, he married Marcella Steggall. They made their home in several rural sandhill communities, where he was involved in farm and ranch work. The couple later lived in Colorado for two years, where he worked in mining. In 1960, they moved to the rural Cozad area, where he was employed at Haymaker Feeds at Darr until his retirement. They had made their home at Lexington for the past three years. During his lifetime, he enjoyed going to dances and time spent with family.
