Description	:	Marcella Pflaster, 84, of Lexington, formerly of Cozad, died Monday, April 26, 2010, at Tri-County Hospital in Lexington. She was born June 8, 1925 at Dunning, Nebraska to George and Hazel (Davis) Steggall. Marcella attended rural school at Brewster, Nebraska.On May 29, 1942, Marcella married Lloyd Pflaster at South Dakota. The couple made their home in several places including, Broken Bow, Loup City, Berwin, Granite, CO and Gothenburg before moving to Cozad in 1960. Their union was blessed with 6 children. Read More	Marcella Pflaster, 84, of Lexington, formerly of Cozad, died Monday, April 26, 2010, at Tri-County Hospital in Lexington. She was born June 8, 1925 at Dunning, Nebraska to George and Hazel (Davis) Steggall. Marcella attended rural school at Brewster, Nebraska.On May 29, 1942, Marcella married Lloyd Pflaster at South Dakota. The couple made their home in several places including, Broken Bow, Loup City, Berwin, Granite, CO and Gothenburg before moving to Cozad in 1960. Their union was blessed with 6 children. Marcella enjoyed working in her garden where she would grow flowers and vegetables, the latter she would use for canning. Marcella enjoyed crocheting, and her family would come to treasure the afghans that she would make for them. In recent years, Marcella took a liking to solving puzzles and word searches. She enjoyed playing bingo, dancing to polka music and playing cards; but she valued the time that was spent with her family most of all. Their gatherings were usually complemented by a wonderful meal that she would prepare. Marcella was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd; her parents; brothers, Nyle, Leonard, Robert; and great grandson, Richard, Jr. Survivors include: daughters, LaVonne (Dale) Hinkle of Oconto, Judy (Gary) Vollmer and Imegene Barraza all of Cozad; sons, Ron (Iona) Pflaster of Oconto, Allen (Sandra) Pflaster of Littleton, CO, Keith (Peg) Pflaster of Gothenburg; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
