Description	:	Lloyd V. Patrick, 78, of Bigfork, Montana, died Tuesday, September 15, of heart failure at his home on Echo Lake. He was born January 9, 1914, at LaBelle, Missouri, the son of Charles and Sadie Patrick. As an infant, he came with his family to a farm north of the Rudyard-Goldstone community in Montana. He was born January 9, 1914, at LaBelle, Missouri, the son of Charles and Sadie Patrick. As an infant, he came with his family to a farm north of the Rudyard-Goldstone community in Montana. He graduated from Rudyard High School in 1932, and then furthered his education at Northern Montana College in Havre. In 1935 he married Wilhelmina Warhank, who later preceded him in death. Lloyd taught and coached in a number of rural Hill County schools in addition to his farming. He also taught at Inverness and Cohagen, and then farmed full time until retiring in 1979. May 14, 1982, he married Dorothy Foubert, and they made their home in the Flathead Valley since that time. This was the fourth summer the Patricks had lived at Echo Lake near Bigfork. He had actively participated in the Catholic churches in both Hingham and Havre, and was a director of the Hingham Farmers Elevator for many years. Lloyd played baseball and basketball for a number of years in Rudyard-Goldstone. He also liked bowling, bridge, hunting, and spectator sports of all types. He was an avid collector of antiques and car license plates. Lloyd is survived by his wife Dorothy at the family home; one son, Darryl Patrick of Huntsville, Texas; two daughters, Loy Ann Chvilicek of Hingham Montana, and Kathleen Higgins of Ryegate, Montana; four brothers, Raymond, Wayne and Bernard, all of Havre, and Don of Grafton, Iowa; three sisters, Gladys Smith and Ruth Meredith, both of Havre, Montana, and Phyllis Gagnon of Chester, Montana; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers. A Christian Prayer Service was conducted Friday, September 18th, at 8 p.m. at Holland and Bonine Funeral Home in Havre. Funeral Mass was celebrated Saturday, September 19th, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church in Hingham with the Rev. Tom Harney officiating. Organist was Rachael Blake and soloist was Marc Jochim who sang "How Great Thou Art," "Amazing Grace," and "On Eagles Wings." Readers were Darryl Patrick, Leonard Chvilicek, and Annette Woster. Gift bearers were Tom Foubert and Terry Farmer. Alter servers were Terry Hybner and Tom Jurenka. Candle bearers were his granddaughters, Annette Woster, Camille Patrick, Jessica Higgins, Suzann Chvilicek, Billie Higgins, and Mariah Higgins. The eulogy was given by Bernard Patrick and the Eucharistic Ministers were Jerry Hybner, Mary Lois Hybner, and Dan Hybner. Pallbearers were Charles Chvilicek, Tom Chvilicek, Jerome Chvilicek, Steven Chvilicek, Dane Higgins, and Zack Patrick. Ushers were Scott Patrick, Craig Patrick, Tim McNair and Dave Warhank. Burial was in the Hingham Cemetery. Memorial services were also held today (Wednesday, September 23rd) at 7:30 p.m. at the Bigfork Christian Church, just east of Streeter's Corner on Highway 83.
