Description	:	Loide Albert Decker died Saturday morning May 18, 1991 in the Chase County Community Hospital at Imperial, Neb., at the age of 81 years, five months and six days. Loide was born on Dec 12, 1909 at Oberlin, Kan., in Decatur County to Chester G. and Nellie (Beard) Decker. At the age of nine the family moved to Wauneta, Neb., where he attended school. Read More	Loide Albert Decker died Saturday morning May 18, 1991 in the Chase County Community Hospital at Imperial, Neb., at the age of 81 years, five months and six days. Loide was born on Dec 12, 1909 at Oberlin, Kan., in Decatur County to Chester G. and Nellie (Beard) Decker. At the age of nine the family moved to Wauneta, Neb., where he attended school. Loide married Ruth (Fox) Decker on Jan 6, 1932. To this union a son Daryl, was born. Loide was a 48 year member of the Operating Engineers Local #9, joining in 1943. He also worked as a Union Pacific Fireman for several years out of Cheyenne, Wyo. In 1971 Ruth and Loide moved back to Wauneta to enjoy his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Ruth; son Darryl; and his wife, Beth; three grandsons, Michael and his wife Lisa; Jeffrey and Phillip and two loving great granddaughter, Kiri Jo and Kelsey Kay, all of Louisville, Colo.; one brother Cecil and his wife Freida, of Benkelman; one sister, Mildred Brill of Wauneta; three brother-in-laws; four sister-in-laws, many nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 21 at 3 p.m. at the United Methodist Church at Wauneta with the Pastor Carroll Plisek officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. Peg Walgren, clavinovist, and Mrs. Sharon Walgren, soloist. Selections chosen were "In the Garden" and "How Great Thou Art." Pallbearers were Michael Decker, Jeffrey Decker, Phillip Decker, Earl Dick, John Fox, Dwight Roff. Internment was a Riverside Cemetery at Wauneta…?" Name and date of paper unknown.
