Lois was born on June 20, 1929, in Freeport, Illinois, the daughter of Carl and Lura Steninger Kracht. She married Leroy Laeser on September 24, 1949 in Muscatine. She had worked for Northwestern Bell for seven years prior to her marriage. She bowled in the Wednesday afternoon Loafer's League, she was a avid golfer and trout fisherwomn. She was a member of the Red Hat Club, two different card clubs and loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren an going to all of her activities. Those left to honor her memory include her husband Leroy Laeser of Muscatine. two sons, Richard Laeser and wife Sandy of Eliza, Il. and Tom Laeser of Muscatine' three daughters, Linda Streger and husband Tom of Muscatine, Sharon Bishop and husband Larry of Phoenix, AZ. and Mary Ann Bruhn and husband Galen of Muscatine. fourgrandchildren, seven step grandchildren, one great grandson, 12 step great grandchildren and two sisters, Marian Howard and husband Gene, of New Boston and Joan Behrens of Bettendorf. She was preceded in death by hr parents.
