She was born July 24, 1925, in Adair County, Missouri, to Pearl Nathan and Lucy Hogg McFarland. She married Max Caswell Breon Feb. 6, 1941. He preceded her in death, October 9, 1967. She was a resident of Ottumwa most of her life and had worked at Hi-Way Inn, was a hostess at Ottumwa Country Club, Avon representative and was employed with Wal-Mart. ... She was born July 24, 1925, in Adair County, Missouri, to Pearl Nathan and Lucy Hogg McFarland. She married Max Caswell Breon Feb. 6, 1941. He preceded her in death, October 9, 1967. She was a resident of Ottumwa most of her life and had worked at Hi-Way Inn, was a hostess at Ottumwa Country Club, Avon representative and was employed with Wal-Mart. She is survived by two sons, Jerry and Jack of Ottumw; four daughters, Pat William, Bonnie King, and Kay Davis, all of Ottumwa and Dixie Cox of Newton; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Herbert McFarland of Ottumwa and Clifford McFarland of Unionville, Missouri., and two sisters, Loeta Randall and Rita Dennis, both of Ottumwa. She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, a brother, Alva McFarland, and three sisters: Marie Darnel, Goldie Huffman and Gertie McFarland. The services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Reece Funeral Home, the Rev. David Jongewaard of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 11 a.m. today at the funeral home with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Pallbearers will be grandsons, David and Cory Breon, Scott King, Levi, Caleb, and Seth Davis. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society in care of Florence DeBuhr, No.3 Carter Court Lane, Ottumwa.
