Mrs. Crowder worked for the A&P Grocery Store in Topeka for several years, and she had been a school nurse at Topeka High School. She married Jerry Crowder on June 21, 1953, in Essex, Iowa. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Joe Crowder and Donald Crowder, both of Topeka; a daughter, Colette Boltz, Horton; a brother, Max Moore, Sydney, Iowa; and nine grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Crowder will lie in state after 8 a.m. today at the funeral home, where visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice or to the American Heart Association and sent in care of the funeral home.
