Description	:	GILBERT-FULTON, LOIS “LOIE” Lois “Loie” Gilbert-Fulton, 71, of Windsor Locks, beloved wife of James Fulton, passed peacefully on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Wallingford on October 29, 1944, daughter of the late H. Closson and Eunice (Munson) Gilbert, formerly of Wallingford. They had been married for 45 years. Read More	GILBERT-FULTON, LOIS “LOIE” Lois “Loie” Gilbert-Fulton, 71, of Windsor Locks, beloved wife of James Fulton, passed peacefully on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Wallingford on October 29, 1944, daughter of the late H. Closson and Eunice (Munson) Gilbert, formerly of Wallingford. They had been married for 45 years. Lois was a strong Christian woman who loved the Lord. During this, her final battle, she said many times not to mourn her because she would soon be in the arms of the Lord. She looked forward to seeing her parents and sister once again as well her deceased children. She attended Trinity Episcopal Church in Tariffville. She was an active lady who participated as a Eucharistic visitor, bringing communion to parishioners who were housebound. She also co-chaired a book table, selling spiritual books at cost. In addition, she also worked with her husband on a program to feed the homeless in Hartford. At various times she had also sung in the choir and been a Sunday school teacher. She was known as the lady with the hat because she always wore a hat to Sunday services. She was well loved and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Most importantly was her family. In addition to her husband Jim, she leaves three children, Christopher Fulton and his wife, Kathleen of Rockland, MA, Thomas of Enfield and Laura Arsenault and her husband, Roy of Enfield; two grandchildren, Kaileigh and Mackenzie; nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Susan Poskitt and dear friends. Her family will receive friends on, Friday, February 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring Street, Windsor Locks. A memorial service in celebration of Lois life on Saturday, February 13 at 10 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 11 Church Street, Tariffville. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, (Youth Ministry) 11 Church Street, Tariffville, CT 06081.
