Description	:	Lois Fuller, age 86, Clark, the widow of Dale Fuller, died peacefully in the Clark Care and Rehabilitation Center at Clark on Monday evening, May 6, 2019. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 1:00 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clark with The Reverend Mindy Ehrke officiating. Dorothy Fuller will be the organist with Roger Nordhus as soloist. The casketbearers will be Frank Fuller, Terry Mills, Carson & Dwight Gubbrud, and John & Jack Beutler. She was born Lois Loraine Johnson on February 8, 1933 at Naples, SD the daughter of Alvin Peter and Vera Marie (Smith) Johnson. She attended Augustana Academy in Canton for her freshman year of high school, then attended Henry High School, graduating in 1951. Lois graduated from Bartron Hospital School of Nursing in Watertown in 1954. She worked as an RN for Blue Cross Blue Shield in the Los Angeles area and then in Minneapolis until her marriage to Dale Fuller on November 28, 1966. After her marriage to Dale, she became a stay at home Mom. The couple has always lived in Clark since that time. Dale died on April 26, 2011 and Lois has continued to live in her home until March of 2019. Lois loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed the quiet times, sitting on her deck, watching the birds, tending to her flower gardens, shopping, reading, taking walks, and in earlier years, hosting coffee parties. She was an active member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church and its women’s groups. Another favorite time at Church for Lois was the annual Lutefisk supper, where she enjoyed making lefse like she used to make with her mother. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, and siblings, Bea Johnson and Dick Johnson. Survivors include her children, Julie Stone (Terry Mills) of Rapid City, Amy (Dwight) Gubbrud of Belle Fourche, and Frank Fuller of Clark; grandchildren, Taylor and Carson Gubbrud. She also leaves siblings, Donald (Gaye) Johnson of Austin, TX, Nyla (John) Beutler of Watertown and Alan (Sandy) Johnson of Mesa, AZ. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Prairie Lakes Hospice in Watertown. The Furness Funeral Home of Clark is serving the family. - Furness Funeral Home
