Lois Marie was born on October 15, 1928, near Scotia, Nebraska to Lee O. and Ethel F. (Williams) Timmons. She was raised in Greeley County where she attended country schools through the 8th grade and graduated from Scotia High School in 1946. She then taught rural school for a few years. On May 20, 1950, Lois was united in marriage to John Ivan Graff at Grand Island, Nebraska. The couple made their home in Greeley where they spent their entire married lives. John passed away in 2004. Lois was a member of the Greeley United Methodist Church. She enjoyed taking care of her family and her husband, John; and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an excellent pie and bread baker; and also enjoyed gardening, canning and working in her yard and flower garden. Survivors include a daughter Peggy (James) Happ of Greeley; two sons, John E. (Susan) Graff of Greeley and Jay D. (Steve) of San Diego; CA; grandchildren, Amy (Kai) Fournier, Kimberly Graff and E.J. Graff; great-grandchildren, Kaden, Caleb and Miles Fournier; a sister, Joanne Meinke of St. Paul; and a sister-in-law, Marvis Timmons.
