Born October 28, 1929, in Kittery, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Donald L. and Mary Evelyn (Cain) Bartlett. She was the wife of Charles Willard Dixon, of Nashua and with whom she married on November 24, 1948, in Kittery, Maine. Marilyn was a 1947 graduate of Traip Academy High School in Kittery, Maine. Read More	Lois Marilyn Dixon, 87, of Nashua, N.H., and formerly of Kittery, Maine, died Saturday, December 31, 2016, at the Langdon Place surrounded by her loved ones. Born October 28, 1929, in Kittery, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Donald L. and Mary Evelyn (Cain) Bartlett. She was the wife of Charles Willard Dixon, of Nashua and with whom she married on November 24, 1948, in Kittery, Maine. Marilyn was a 1947 graduate of Traip Academy High School in Kittery, Maine. Marilyn was a homemaker, who enjoyed spending time with family and friends, baking, skiing and going to their family camp on Moose Pond in Bridgton, Maine. She loved animals, especially dogs, cats and horses. She also enjoyed RV-ing around the country with her husband and visited the Arctic Circle in 1997, arriving in their Volkswagen Beetle for the final portion of the trip. Besides her loving husband of sixty-eight years, Charles, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Donald Foye Dixon and his wife Alecia Newton Dixon, of Georgia, Vt.; one daughter, Rebecca Louise Dixon, of Hollis, N.H., and four grandchildren, Mason and Skyler Dixon, and Caleb and Sydney Van Gilder. SERVICES: There are no visiting hours or funeral service. She will be interred at a later date along with her husband upon his death in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Eliot, Maine.
