Description	:	Lois Maxine Busteed, daughter of Howard and Mildred (Lamson) Reinke, was born at Tilden, NE on August 13, 1945, and died at Antelope Memorial Hospital, Neligh, NE, August 5, 1988, at the age of 42 years, 11 months, and 22 days. She grew to womanhood on her parents’ farm north of Neligh, attended the rural schools, and graduated from Neligh High School with the Class of 1963. Read More	Lois Maxine Busteed, daughter of Howard and Mildred (Lamson) Reinke, was born at Tilden, NE on August 13, 1945, and died at Antelope Memorial Hospital, Neligh, NE, August 5, 1988, at the age of 42 years, 11 months, and 22 days. She grew to womanhood on her parents’ farm north of Neligh, attended the rural schools, and graduated from Neligh High School with the Class of 1963. After graduation, she worked at Keahaven Nursing Home, and as a dental assistant in Neligh. On November 12, 1967, in St. Paul Lutheran Church at Neligh, Lois was united in marriage with George L. Busteed of Elgin. The couple made their home on the farm west of Elgin all of their married life. Mrs. Busteed was a member of the United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women, and had been until recently a member of the Antelope County Extension Committee, the Young and Lively Extension Club, and the Out Our Way Aid Society. Survivors include her husband, one daughter, Barbara, a 1988 graduate of Elgin High School, and one son, Steven, an eighth grade student, all of Elgin; her parents of Neligh, two brothers, three sisters, other relatives, and many friends. Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 8, 1988, from the Elgin United Methodist Church. Interment was made in the West Cedar Valley Cemetery.
