She was preceded in death by her husband, William Clinton Carnes.

Mrs. Carnes is survived by her brother-in-laws, Russell D. Carnes (Kay) and Neal Carnes (Shirley) and by her sister-in-law, Mary Jo Braswell.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am Saturday, November 28, 2020 in Waxhaw City Cemetery with Reverend Mark Carnes officiating.
