Description	:	Lola "Babe" Dodds Sainsbury, 93, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, June 27, 2006, at Park Place Long Term Care Unit. Born April 15, 1913, south of Hillsboro, she was the daughter of Walter Alvah and Lillian Tade Harlan. On Feb. 2, 35, she married James Malcom Dodds. He died Jan. 22, 1978. She later married Thomas Sainsbury, who also preceded her in death. Mrs. Sainsbury was a homemaker. She graduated from Hillsboro Public School where she played basket ball in high school and continued to be a fan of the sport the rest of her life.... She graduated from Hillsboro Public School where she played basket ball in high school and continued to be a fan of the sport the rest of her life. After high scholl, she attended Fort Madison Business College. She was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church, the Order of the Eastern Star and a past Worthy Matron and a member of the Hillsboro Alpha Club. She enjoyed music, card games and crocheting afghans. Survirvors include three daughters, Nancy A. Hawbaker of Hillsboro, Selma R. Dinsmore of Keosauqua and Patricia J. Anderson of Stockport; one son, J. Michael Dodds of Hallsville, Mo; two step sons, Ron Sainsbury and Ernie Sainsbury, both of Canada; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, three brothers, one granddaughter and one stepson. Visitation will be from noon to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mt. Pleasant, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The funeral for Mrs. Sainsbury will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. David Doerr officiating. Burial will be in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Memorials have been established for the Hillsboro Library and the Hillsboro Fire and Rescue Squad.
