She spent a portion of her life at Fairmont, and was united in marriage with Charles A. Wells, September 1, 1914. Mrs. Wells was the daughter of James H. and Louisana Dorrance. She leaves her husband; four sons, Dwight L. Williams of Monterey, California, Wilber L. and Burt D. Williams and Donald C. Wells of LIncoln. Also a sister, Mrs. Mary Saxton of Akron, Colo., two brothers, Warren Dorrance of Omaha, and Walter Dorrance of Denver, Colorado; and a granddaughter, Nancy Williams; besides many other relatives and friends. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors, and her first thoughts were for those of her own home, and otherwise she was devoted in her services and sacrifices for others. Her well begun work is left for others to complete for she has gone to her reward. Funeral services were held from the Castle, Roper and Mathews chapel in Lincoln, Wednesday, October 26, at 10:30 o'clock a.m., with Rev. Charles P. Lang, a former Fairmont Methodist pastor officiating. Interment was made in the family plot in Fairmont cemetery that afternoon at three o'clock. A large number of relatives and friends were present at the services, many of them coming from Lincoln and other points.
