Description	:	Mrs. Mittie Ella Gibson was born in Madison county, Iowa, January 4, 1867, and departed this life May 12, 1930, at Omaha, Nebraska. When but a child of four years, her parents came to Fillmore county, where they took up a homestead. In the year 1907, Mr. and Mrs. Gibson moved to Omaha, where they have since resided. She is survived by her husband, George H. Gibson and three children, John M., Mrs. R.R. Duffy and Mrs. R.F. Keplinger, also two grandchildren, Mary Margaret Duffy and Madge Loraine Keplinger, all of Omaha. Two sons and one... Read More	Mrs. Mittie Ella Gibson was born in Madison county, Iowa, January 4, 1867, and departed this life May 12, 1930, at Omaha, Nebraska. When but a child of four years, her parents came to Fillmore county, where they took up a homestead. In the year 1907, Mr. and Mrs. Gibson moved to Omaha, where they have since resided. She is survived by her husband, George H. Gibson and three children, John M., Mrs. R.R. Duffy and Mrs. R.F. Keplinger, also two grandchildren, Mary Margaret Duffy and Madge Loraine Keplinger, all of Omaha. Two sons and one daughter have preceded her in death. Her father has preceded her, but she is survived by her mother, Mrs. James Dorrance, who is eighty-five years of age. Other relatives who survive her are two brothers, Warren Dorrance of Omaha, and Walter Dorrance of Denver, Colorado, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Saxton of Akron, Colorado, and Mrs. Lona Wells of Lincoln, Neb. Besides these, there are other relatives and friends who mourn her , but who will affectionately cherish her memory. While residing in Fairmont, Mrs. Gibson affiliated with the Presbyterian church, but upon removing to Omaha, she joined the Christ Memorial Methodist church. Short services were held at the undertaking parlors in Omaha on Wednesday afternoon, May 14 and Thursday the remains were brought to Fairmont. At 2:30 p.m., funeral services were held at the Methodist church, Rev. C.H. Lind officiating, interment being made in the Fairmont cemetery beside her two children. Mrs. Gibson had many friends here. There was a large attendance at the funeral and numerous beautiful floral offerings.
