Description	:	Funeral for Mrs. Loova Ellingson Held Sunday Mrs. Loova Ellingson, a lifelong resident of Knox County, died at a Fremont hospital Friday, Sept. 10 at the age of 61. She had been ill the past few months and was taken to Fremont from the Creighton hospital to be near her mother, brother and sister. Her death came about six months after that of her husband. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Center Congregational Church with the Rev. Richard T. Hartshorn, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery at Creighton. Pallbearers were Jack Crosley, Clyde Holmes, Jack Luckert, Tom Danaher, Fred Fafrenz and Floyd Weaver. Loova Olson, one of six children of Alfred and Susie Olson, was born Jan. 26, 1904 at Wausa. She spent her childhood on the home farm near Wausa and later moved with the family to near Center. There she attended rural schools, completing her schooling in the Center and Creighton schools and at a normal school. She taught several years in Knox County schools. She was married to Ole C. Ellingson on June 12, 1929. They made their home in Center, where they owned and operated a general merchandise store for many years. The past several years she was Knox County deputy clerk. Mrs. Ellingson was a member of the Center Congregational Church and supported church and civic affairs. She served as church treasurer for 25 years, was a member of the church choir and the Women's Fellowship. she was responsible for numerous improvements and advances in the church building and program. Surviving are her mother and one sister, Mrs. Rudy (Grace) Angster of Fremont; three brothers, Marvin Olson of Bay City, Mich., Harold Olson of Fremont and Russell Olson of Niobrara and a stepson, Earl Ellingson of Ames, Ia.
