Description	:	Ole Ellingson, 75, of Center Dies Sunday Ole Ellingson, a lifelong resident of the Center community, died Sunday, March 14 at the local hospital, where he had been a patient for about two weeks. He was 75 years old. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday morning at the Congregational Church in Center, of which he was a member. The Rev. Richard T. Hartshorn, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery at Creighton. Pallbearers were Jack Crosley, Floyd Weaver, Beverly Cook, Tom Danaher, Clyde Holmes and Elmer Crosley. Ole Clarence Ellingson, son of Iver and Helen Ellingson, was born Feb. 27, 1890, on a farm near Center. He grew to manhood in the community and attended the Center Schools. He also attended Wayne State Normal. In early years he was engaged in farming and later owned and operated a grocery store in Center for many years. In 1915 he was married to Fern Peed and one son was born to them. Following her death he was later married to Loova Olson in 1929. He was active in all community, civic and church affairs. For the past few years he had been employed by the Knox County Noxious Weed District. Surviving are his wife; son, Earl of Ames, Ia; one sister, Mabel Terry of Albany, Calif.; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
