Description	:	Loran Clark Cumming, 82, of Grand Island died Friday, Sept. 18, 2015, at Golden Living Center at Park Place. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Chaplain Jay Towell will officiate. Military honors will be rendered by the United Veterans Honor Guard. Burial will be at the Boone Cemetery in Boone County as per his wishes next to his big brother, Earl, and his grandpa and grandma Day. Visitation will be from noon until services. Mr. Cumming was born Oct. 8, 1932, to Earl G. and Pearl (Day) Cumming. He was raised and received his education in St. Edward, Neb. He joined the United States Air Force in 1951 until and was honorably discharged in 1959. Loren worked many jobs as a mechanic, truck driver and in manufacturing. He retired from Overhead Door Manufacturing in 1997. He then worked part time at Walmart. Some of Loren’s hobbies included many crafts, yard work, fishing, traveling, watching old Western movies and telling stories. He enjoyed a good joke. Most of all Loren was a kind man. He was a member of the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Joyce E. Cumming; brothers, Earl E., Richard G. and Bobby L. Cumming, and his special friend, Helen Green. Survivors include his nephew-care giver, Kelly D. Cumming and family, and a sister, Beverly Cumming of Las Vegas, Nev., and cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Memorials are suggested to the Hall County Vietnam Hero Flights.
