He was born Nov. 27, 1922, at Silver Lake, the son of Walter W. and Esther I. Lawrence Wolf. He moved to Carbondale from Topeka in 1969. Mr. Wolf was an aide at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Topeka more than 25 years before he retired in 1971. He moved to Carbondale from Topeka in 1969. Mr. Wolf was an aide at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Topeka more than 25 years before he retired in 1971. He was a member of Capitol Post No. 1 of the American Legion and Philip Billard Post No. 1650, Veterans of Foreign Wars, both in Topeka. He was married to Jennie M. Ohse Oct. 7, 1942, at Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Jacky L. Wolf, Olivet, and Loren Wolf Jr., Carbondale; a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis J. Boyd, Topeka; his mother, Mrs. Esther Wolf, Carbondale; a brother, Wendel Wolf, Heber Springs, Ark.; a sister, Mrs. Laurel Gibson, Fremont, Calif.; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery southeast of Topeka. Mr. Wold will lie in state until 9 a.m. Wednesday at Tibbitts-Griffin Highland Chapel.
