Description	:	Loretta Eleanor Taylor Battle Creek, 91, a lifelong Battle Creek resident, died Tuesday August 1, 2006, at her residence. Loretta was the daughter of T. Fred and Sadie S. (Baurs) Holmes. Gaaduated from Battle Creek Central High Scool in 1934. She became a teacher and continued her education throughtout her career. She teach at the Sackrider school, Ceresco school, Dayburg school, Hanner school near Tekonsha, Spaulding School (became part of Harper Creek Schools), Gull lake school and Pennfield schools for 21 Years (Beechtree, Poorman, and Purdy Schools.)
