Description	:	Loretta Schlosser, known as "Sis," died at the age of 89, at the St. Rose Care Center in LaMoure, North Dakota, she was a resident of Edgeley, North Dakota. She was born on the family farm in Edgeley, North Dakota, the daughter of Illa and Anthony Podenski. She attended a rural school in Edgeley, North Dakota, she married her first husband, Michael Taszarek in the early 1940's, settling on the Taszarek's family farm in Ray Township, North Dakota, he died in May of 1960. She was born on the family farm in Edgeley, North Dakota, the daughter of Illa and Anthony Podenski. She attended a rural school in Edgeley, North Dakota, she married her first husband, Michael Taszarek in the early 1940's, settling on the Taszarek's family farm in Ray Township, North Dakota, he died in May of 1960. On February 19th, 1962, she married Peter Schlosser in Grafton, North Dakota. They lived together shortly on the Taszarek farm, then moved to Peter's farm, 7 miles from Edgeley, North Dakota. In 1992, they moved together into the town of Edgeley, North Dakota. Loretta was a member of the Transfiguration Catholic Church in Edgeley, North Dakota. Loretta and her second husband, Peter, adopted two children as toddlers, and raised them, they were brothers, Dale and Lester. They also had one child together, Mary. Loretta was preceded in death by both her parents, Illa and Anthony Podenski, and by both her husbands, Michael Taszarek ans Peter Schlosser. She is survived by: Three children, Lester Schlosser of Jamestown, North Dakota, Dale Schlosser of Jamestown, North Dakota, and Mary Maki of Gillette, Wyoming. She also had 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, plus expecting a second great-grandchild. Dale was expecting his first grandchild. NOTE: Dale Schlosser died a week after Loretta died, he died June 16th, 2008, at the age of 46. He was buried near his adoptive parents, Loretta and Peter.
