Description	:	Lori Johnson, 55, of Le Mars passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 18, 2015 in Le Mars. A Celebration of Life Service will be 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars with Reverend David Szostek with the Third St. Church of Christ officiating. Inurnment will be at Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Grant Township, rural Le Mars, Iowa. Visitation with the family present will be after 12:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Lori Lynn McClintock was born November 21, 1959 to Thomas and Bernice (Plueger) McClintock. Lori graduated from high school in 1978 in Dunlap, Iowa. She excelled in art, which led to a scholarship at Iowa Lakes Community College in Estherville Iowa. She married Alvin Johnson on November 10th, 1979. They raised their children in Storm Lake, IA. Where she was active in a food coop and active member in the Church. Later on the family moved to LeMars, IA, where she lived until her passing. Lori enjoyed music and movies. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She had a wicked sense of humor and was a fighter. She survived multiple cancer treatments for her children. Survivors include her children, Joe Johnson and his wife Emily of Austin, Texas, Crystal Johnson of LeMars, IA, Gabe Johnson and girlfriend Emily Mitchell of Mountain Home, Idaho, Micah Johnson of LeMars, IA, Sarah Miller and her husband Cody of Vermillion, SD, Ben Kozak of Vermillion, SD, and Abby Johnson of Austin, TX; 11 Grand Children; three siblings: Bruce Knutson of LeMars, IA, Anna and James Grell of Danbury, IA, Monica and Travis McAlpin of Norwalk, IA; and several Nieces and Nephews.
