Description	:	Lorin Frone Mucklow, the son of Charles and Fern (Reams) Mucklow, was born on April 11, 1922 on his parent's farm south of Bloomington, Nebraska. He passed away on November 11, 2004 at his home in Superior, Nebraska at the age of 82 years and 7 months. Read More	Lorin Frone Mucklow, the son of Charles and Fern (Reams) Mucklow, was born on April 11, 1922 on his parent's farm south of Bloomington, Nebraska. He passed away on November 11, 2004 at his home in Superior, Nebraska at the age of 82 years and 7 months. Lorin was baptized in the Congregational Church, Franklin, Nebraska and he was education in the Reams school near Franklin, Nebraska. He served during WWII in the United States Navy from September 22, 1942 to May 28, 1946. He was united in marriage to Lorraine Bell on May 2, 1948 in the Congregational Church, Franklin, Nebraska. This union was blessed with four children. Lorin farmed in Franklin County and the Guide Rock area. After moving to Superior, Nebraska he was employed by Glenn Ridle for many years. He later worked for Mid American Dairymain for 16 years. Lorin was a member of the Legion Club, Charter member of the V.F.W. in Franklin, and was a 30 year member of the Church of the Nazarene, Superior. Preceding him in death were his parents, one brother, Bart and one sister Beverly Berlie. Survivors include his wife, Lorraine; sons, Earl and wife Virginia of Holstein, Nebraska; Edward and wife Marilyn of Hastings, Nebraska; daughter, Valerie Mickelsen and husband Arlen of Superior, Nebraska; and son, Robert of Norfolk, Nebraska; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Greg, Angie, Jamie and Jett; and two brothers, Chet of Texas and James and wife Judy of Ft. Collins, Colorado; and brother-in-law, Hank Berlie, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held on Monday, November 15, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel in Superior, Nebraska with Pastor Denis Payne officiating. Music was provided by Darrel Miller, soloist and Carol Miller, pianist. Pallbearers were Greg Mucklow, Steve Mucklow, C.J. Mucklow, Steve Bell, Dan Bell, Bill Bell and Doug Berlie. Honorary Pallbearers were his granddaughters, Jennifer Mucklow, Angie Mucklow, Jamie Mickelsen and Jett Mickelsen. Internment was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Superior, Nebraska with Full Military Rites. Memorials may be given to the Church of the Nazarene.
