Description	:	Lorina Ruetz, 96, of Napoleon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Northcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Napoleon. She was born on November 29, 1924 in Freedom Township, Henry County to the late Carl and Martha (Wurthmann) Cordes. She married Willam Ruetz on August 28, 1946 and he preceded her in death on February 23, 1994. Read More	Lorina Ruetz, 96, of Napoleon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Northcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Napoleon. She was born on November 29, 1924 in Freedom Township, Henry County to the late Carl and Martha (Wurthmann) Cordes. She married Willam Ruetz on August 28, 1946 and he preceded her in death on February 23, 1994. Lorina was a 1943 graduate of Ridgeville High School and was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church of Napoleon. She owned and operated the Z & R Cleaners in Napoleon alongside her husband William for thirty-five years; until they retired in 1979. She then worked at Uhlman Department store for ten years. Lorina enjoyed traveling and spending time with her friends, especially at McDonald's where they would enjoy many meals and fellowship. Lorina is survived by her sister, Marian Hoot of Pannsylvania and brother, Gene C. (Louise) Cordes of Napoleon. She is also survived by nineteen nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Lillian (Eldon) Knape, nephew, Richard Knape and brother-in-law, Frank Hoot. A private graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery of Napoleon with pastor Ben Sheaffer officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Snyder-Wesche-Hoening Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Lutheran Public Radio or to a charity of the donor's choice in care of the funeral home (830 N. Scott St. Napoleon).
