Description	:	Lorna Irene Gross Linn July 13, 1923 - July 29, 2011 Lorna was born on July 13, 1923 in Daily, Michigan to Claude and Ollie Stretch. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her mother and father, two brothers, Paul and Gene Stretch and a sister, Madalyn Carbon. Lorna lost her daughter, Nannette to cancer in October of 1999. Survivors include a son, James (Jane) Pruitt of Monarch, MT, a sister, Dorothy Pryzbylinski of Niles and the love of her life, William Linn. Read More	Lorna Irene Gross Linn July 13, 1923 - July 29, 2011 Lorna was born on July 13, 1923 in Daily, Michigan to Claude and Ollie Stretch. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her mother and father, two brothers, Paul and Gene Stretch and a sister, Madalyn Carbon. Lorna lost her daughter, Nannette to cancer in October of 1999. Survivors include a son, James (Jane) Pruitt of Monarch, MT, a sister, Dorothy Pryzbylinski of Niles and the love of her life, William Linn. Also surviving are three stepchildren, John (Nanette) Linn, Dick (Nancy) Linn and Sharon (Alan) Mann; four grandchildren, Jessica Pruitt, Jillian Urick, Edward Castagne and Thomas Hester; and nine great grandchildren. Lorna was a member of the Eastern Star and became Worthy Matron of Harmony Chapter 127 of Ekalaka, MT in 1979 and 1980. She sold hospital and life insurance in Montana. After retirement in 1990 she moved to Powell, WY. Lorna later moved to South Bend to be with her best friend and love, Bill Linn. Don't cry for me for I am at home with Lord and all my loved ones that have passed on. I'll meet you at that beautiful gate. Bye for now. Love you all. Mom, Grandma, and Lorna Memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Southlawn United Methodist Church, 60756 U.S. 31 South, South Bend, IN 46614. Chaplain Larry Rice will officiate. Burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend, IN. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be offered to the Center for Hospice Care, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
